About Eblan

We're a small, remote team building tools that make small software teams look bigger than they are.

Eblan Labs was founded in 2026 on a simple observation: the best engineering teams all have one thing in common — someone with taste reads every line of code before it ships. And the teams that need that the most, the small ones, can least afford it.

We spent years as the person doing those reviews — and years as the person waiting for them. When frontier models finally got good enough to reason about code the way a careful engineer does, we didn't see a novelty. We saw the missing teammate.

What we believe

  • Precision beats volume. A review with three comments worth reading beats thirty comments worth skimming. We tune Eblan to say less, more carefully.
  • Tools should live where the work happens. No new dashboard, no new inbox. Eblan shows up in the pull request, says its piece, and gets out of the way.
  • Your code is yours. We built Eblan to need as little of your data as possible — because the best data policy is the one with almost nothing in it.

How we work

We're a small team of engineers and designer-engineers, working remotely across a few time zones. We build on Claude, Anthropic's frontier AI model, both inside the product and in our own daily workflow — dogfooding isn't a buzzword here, it's the whole office.

We're backed by angels from the developer-tools world, and we're deliberately taking our time: the beta comes first, the waitlist moves weekly, and everything we ship has to survive contact with real pull requests.
