Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

Eblan Labs, Inc. ("Eblan", "we", "us") provides an AI code review service for GitHub ("the Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we don't store your source code, and we never sell data.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you install the Eblan GitHub App or join the waitlist, we collect your GitHub username, the names of repositories you connect, and your email address if you provide it.
  • Service metadata. To operate the Service, we keep lightweight records: PR numbers and titles, review status, timestamps, and error logs. This metadata does not include source code or diff contents.
  • Communications. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you and improve the product.

Source code and the Claude API

To review a pull request, Eblan fetches the relevant code and diff through the GitHub API and sends it to the Claude API, operated by Anthropic, PBC, for analysis. Code sent to the Claude API is used to produce your review and is not used to train AI models. Eblan does not persist source code after a review completes. See our Security page for details.

How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • To communicate with you about the Service (including beta onboarding and operational notices);
  • To measure aggregate usage of features (for example, how many reviews complete per day);
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Sharing

We share information only with the processors needed to run the Service:

  • GitHub — to read the changes you ask us to review and to post reviews back to your pull requests;
  • Anthropic, PBC — the Claude API, which analyzes the changes;
  • Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting and email delivery, bound by their own confidentiality and security obligations.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the transferred data.

Retention

Account and service metadata are kept for as long as your installation is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and support purposes. Review correspondence is kept until you ask us to delete it. Source code is not retained.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@eblan.site — we respond within 30 days. You can also revoke the GitHub App's access at any time from your GitHub settings, which stops all processing of your repositories.

Cookies

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies (for example, to remember your waitlist signup in your browser). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll announce them on this page and, for active customers, by email. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
