Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Eblan, the AI code review service provided by Eblan Labs, Inc. ("Eblan", "we", "us"), including the Eblan GitHub App and the website eblan.site (together, the "Service"). By installing the GitHub App or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts and installations

The Service is provided through the Eblan GitHub App. You must have the authority to bind the organization or account on which you install it. You are responsible for the repositories you connect and for keeping your GitHub account secure.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to review content you don't have the right to process;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to access it other than through its documented interfaces;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a hosted offering without written permission;
  • use the Service to violate applicable laws or third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.

3. Service availability and beta

While the Service is in private beta, it is provided "as is" and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Beta features may carry no service-level commitments. We may adjust, add, or remove functionality as the product evolves.

4. Fees

Current pricing is described on our pricing page. During the beta, the Service is free. When paid plans launch, we'll give at least 30 days' notice before any charge, and you may continue on the free Hobby plan. Unless stated otherwise, fees are per user per month, billed in advance, and non-refundable except as required by law.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to your code and repositories. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service: fetching the changes you ask us to review, sending them to the Claude API for analysis, and posting reviews back to GitHub. We claim no ownership over your code and, per our Privacy Policy, we do not persist source code after a review completes.

6. AI-generated reviews

Reviews and suggestions produced by the Service are generated with AI and may contain errors or omissions. They are informational: you remain responsible for evaluating them and for what you merge. Eblan does not merge, push, or modify your code.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including GitHub and Anthropic's Claude API. Their availability and terms may affect the Service. We are not responsible for third-party services, though we choose them carefully (see our Security page).

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, we stop processing your repositories; stored metadata is deleted within 90 days.

9. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that reviews will catch all issues.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eblan Labs, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if the Service was free.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. For material changes, we'll notify active customers by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
